High Hedges

If you have a problem with a high hedge bordering or on your own property, we can help. We make a thorough assessment to establish whether you have a realistic prospect of getting a neighbour's nuisance high hedge reduced in height.

We can also tell you if your neighbour has a realistic prospect of obtaining a Remedial Notice from the local authority requiring you to reduce your hedge.

Technical studies are carried out according to the Building Research Establishment guidelines, which form the main basis for the technical element of the legislation. We also check if Tree Preservation Orders, etc. relate to the hedge, provide you with a report and a plan, and a provisional schedule of works needed to align the hedge with the BRE guidelines.
